Three new appointments, Sarah Johnson, Ryan Lewis and Nicola Briscoe, mark a new chapter for Efficient Building Solutions (EBS) with the creation of its first Marcomms team to work across all three of its businesses Green Building Renewables, Green Building Store and QODA Consulting

The new team will be responsible for marketing and communications across EBS and will play an integral role in its vision to lead the UK’s transformation to efficient, sustainable buildings. The team will enhance experience, engagement and conversation with customers, clients and key audiences across EBS’s businesses.

New Marketing Manager Sarah Johnson joins EBS, having worked both in agency and in-house across the B2B and B2C sectors. With expertise in digital marketing and customer UX, Sarah will lead the businesses’ marketing strategies.

Sarah commented:

“It’s a fascinating time to join EBS; the ambition and vision across the businesses is a marketeer’s dream. The opportunity to work for not just one but three purpose-led companies provides the challenge of creating bespoke strategies for each company, unified by EBS’s vision to lead the UK to more efficient and sustainable buildings”

Ryan commented:

“I am really happy to join a company that has sustainability and the desire to be a force for good at its core. Helping audiences understand their role in tackling climate change through their choices for the buildings in which they live and work will be key to my role. During the Covid pandemic, we have seen just how important the spaces in which we live and work are, and EBS and its businesses are motivated by the desire to make those spaces better for all of us.”

Sarah and Ryan will be supported across all channels of the marcomms strategy by Digital Marketing Executive Nicola Briscoe, who joins the EBS team from its business, Green Building Store. Nicola brings a wealth of digital knowledge and tactical support to the team with expertise in social media and website analytics.

Nicola commented:

“Digital marketing and communication have a key role to play in how we talk to our audiences and stakeholders across all of the EBS’s businesses. Delivering digital messaging about how the UK can make its buildings more efficient and sustainable is essential for all three of our businesses, and I am excited to be joining the team with Sarah and Ryan to accomplish this”

Philip Fellowes-Prynne, CEO of Efficient Building Solutions added:

“We have bold ambitions for what EBS and its businesses can achieve in the next few years. How we communicate this to our audiences will be crucial to our success. The newly assembled team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that we believe will help drive and inspire all our businesses into the future.”
