Businesses within Efficient Building Solutions are members of, and actively involved in, organisations such as the Passivhaus Trust and the AECB, working to improve decarbonisation responses at a Government policy level. Efficient Building Solutions Non-Executive Director Chris Herring is the founding and current Chair of the Passivhaus Trust and has previously acted as Chair of the AECB. He is also a long-standing AECB Trustee and was selected as Commissioner on the recently-formed Kirklees Climate Commission.

Green Building Store is a company supporter of the National Retrofit Strategy campaign and has contributed to feedback to BEIS on the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. Efficient Building Solutions staff are also are actively involved in the Zero Carbon Yorkshire BUILDINGs/ AECB Yorkshire group.
